Coogee Resources - Montara project

Coogee Resources awarded Powertech a 5-year contract to provide commissioning and operational support services to all its offshore assets. The first project addressed was the Montara oil project. Powertech's contract included commissioning of the topside, pre-commissioned in Singapore prior to installation in the Timor Sea.

The floating production storage and offloading facility (FPSO), Montara Venture, built in Singapore was constructed and pre-commissioned with a team of Powertech personnel carrying out construction and commissioning verification. The topside was floated to the Montara field in 2008 and the FPSO was due to be floated in 2009.
